Hadrian, 117-138. Sestertius (Orichalcum, 32 mm, 29.01 g, 12 h), Rome, circa 130-133. HADRIANVS AVG COS III P P Bare-headed and draped bust of Hadrian to right, seen from behind. Rev. AFRICA Africa, wearing elephant-skin headdress, reclining left against rock, holding scorpion in her right hand and cornucopiae in her left; at her feet, modius with grain ears. BMC 1707. Cohen 142. RIC 1610. Struck on a heavy flan. Some flan faults, otherwise, good fine.
